"The whole art of teaching
is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds
for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards."

Urgent Action for Friday, March 28, 2014

Keep North Adams Regional Hospital Open!

The MTA invites you and your friends to a
Stand Out outside North Adams City Hall
Beginning at 7 a.m on Friday Morning

We have less than 24 hours to make our voices heard to convince our government leaders to pull out ALL the stops to preserve our hospital.  As teachers, we work with many families and we know how important it is that we have dependable and local health care.
The MTA has worked with the hospital staff and they want our help.  Our President, Marie McCarron asked me to send out this call to action:

On Friday morning  (from 7 am until 8:30) the MTA is inviting members and all our friends to attend a stand out/sign waving event in support of NARH taking place in front of North Adams City Hall (10 Main St.).

Please come and show your support even if it is just for a few minutes on your way to work!
